Our Roots
Here at Christian Information & Service Center, we are driven by a single mission; to do our part in ministry for those within our community who stand in need of help or encouragement. Our volunteers and staff are those of Christian faith who believe in serving those in need of nourishment for their families.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to feed as many as we can. Even with COVID-19, community outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team works diligently each and every day to make a positive impact on our clients. What we are able to give is only made possible by donations given in love by individuals and local churches. Such donations allow us to offer food provided by local partners to our clients. C.I.S.C PROGRAMS
At Christian Information & Service Center, we are blessed to feed over 245,000 citizens annually with over 2 million pounds of food. C.I.S.C offers various programs throughout the year, such as our "BackPack Buddies" after-school feeding program and our "Helping Hands Program," which aims at feeding clients who are unable to come to our facility. Our primary form of assistance to the community is free food for low-income residents within Angelina County.

C.I.S.C is thankful to have wonderful partnerships with various community agencies who aid us in fulfilling our purpose of service to others.
